Athena is a new X-ray spacial telescope project planned to be launched between 2028 and 2034. Ann Hornschemeier co-chairs the "Star Formation and Evolution" science panel, Ptak co-chairs the "Feedback in Local AGN and Star Forming Galaxies", and group members Antoniou, Basu-Zych participate in science panels.
